Renault Korea's Domestic Sales Increase 7% in May... Led by Arkana HEV
Renault Korea announced on the 3rd that it sold 1,901 units in the domestic market in May this year, an increase of 6.9% compared to the same month last year.
During the same period, exports reached 4,777 units, and Renault Korea achieved a total sales performance of 6,678 units in the global market.
In the domestic market last month, the coupe-type sport utility vehicle (SUV) Arkana led domestic sales with 945 units sold. In particular, the hybrid model accounted for 60.1% of Arkana sales with 568 units.
One out of every three new cars sold by Renault Korea this year is a hybrid model. Renault Korea has sold 2,839 hybrid vehicles over the past five months.
The mid-size SUV QM6 sold 760 units. Among them, the LPG passenger model accounted for more than 70%, with 535 units sold.

Renault Korea's exports in May amounted to 4,777 units shipped. Arkana was exported with 4,074 units, including 2,824 hybrid units, and QM6 was exported with 703 units.
