Hapcheon County Conducts Emergency Response Training for All Employees to Strengthen Disaster Preparedness
Conducting Theoretical Training and Field Emergency Medical Center Operations, Including Simulation Drills
Hapcheon County, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 3rd that it conducted a training session to strengthen emergency response capabilities in preparation for disasters and mass casualty incidents for all staff, including the Rapid Response Team, at the Health Education Room on the second floor of the Public Health Center.

View original imageThe training invited five instructors from the Gyeongnam Emergency Medical Center and covered theoretical education and tabletop exercises on topics such as the disaster emergency medical response system, PS-LTE (radio) usage, the role and triage process of the patient classification team, and the roles of the treatment and transport teams, as well as the operation of on-site emergency medical stations.
The Rapid Response Team is an on-site activity team organized and operated under the leadership of the head of the public health center to provide swift medical response in the event of disasters. The Hapcheon County Rapid Response Team consists of two teams with a total of 18 members.
Director Ahn Myungki of the Public Health Center stated, "The ability of the public health center to respond on-site is becoming increasingly important in the face of unpredictable disasters," and added, "We will continue to provide education and training to protect the health and safety of county residents during disaster situations."
