Hyundai Glovis will utilize its domestic and international logistics networks and handle the pretreatment side to expand the battery recycling business. EcoPro will be responsible for the post-treatment sector. In the battery recycling process, pretreatment involves physically discharging the remaining power from used batteries, dismantling them, and removing impurities. This process also produces black powder, which is a separated cathode material. Post-treatment is the process of directly extracting valuable metals from the raw materials obtained in this way.
