Gyeonggi-do Focuses on Reporting 'Public Interest Violations in Environmental Sector'... Until the 16th of This Month
Gyeonggi Province will operate a two-week intensive reporting period for public interest violations in the environmental sector from June 3 to 16, ahead of 'Environment Day' on June 5.
Following the safety sector in April, Gyeonggi Province announced that it decided to run the intensive reporting period for public interest violations in the environmental sector to increase residents' interest in the citizen report hotline and to activate the system.
During this period, Gyeonggi Province will also promote customized publicity campaigns tailored to daily life to encourage reporting.
Investigation Officer Lee Seon-beom stated, "Through this intensive reporting period in the environmental sector, we hope residents will realize that they can report public interest violations in their daily lives and, furthermore, by actively reporting such violations, contribute to improving the living environment and preventing environmental pollution in Gyeonggi Province."
