Kim Segwon, Professor Emeritus at National Pukyong University, Publishes 'Algae Mediated Bioremediation'
Global Publisher Wiley... Removal of Pollutants Using Microalgae
Pukyong National University announced on the 30th that Professor Emeritus Kim Saekwon has published "Algae Mediated Bioremediation, Industrial Prospectives Volumes I-II," a book covering pollutant removal technologies using microalgae.
This book, published by the global academic publisher Wiley, presents methods to restore nature to its original state through biological environmental remediation using seaweed or microalgae, instead of various chemical agents traditionally used to prevent severe environmental pollution.
It mainly discusses bio-environmental remediation technologies such as wastewater treatment using microalgae for brewery or food processing plant waste, removal of heavy metal pollutants from wastewater using seaweed, waste treatment technologies, and aquaculture wastewater treatment technologies.
