Gangnam-gu Hosts Online Celebration Event for 20th Anniversary of Gangnam Ingwang
June 3-28 ▲20th Birthday Celebration Party ▲20th Anniversary Special Membership Event ▲Metaverse Event with Generous Prizes
Gangnam-gu District Office (Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) operates the Gangnam-gu Internet CSAT Broadcast (hereinafter Gangnam Ingang), which is celebrating its 20th anniversary by holding a celebration event throughout June. Three events are being held simultaneously: ▲Gangnam Ingang 20th Birthday Celebration Party ▲20th Anniversary Special Membership Event ▲Metaverse Event, offering generous prizes.
Launched in June 2004, Gangnam Ingang currently offers about 1,596 courses taught by 68 renowned instructors. With a membership fee of 50,000 KRW (30,000 KRW for Gangnam residents), users can access all courses unlimitedly for a year, leading efforts to reduce private education costs and strengthen public education.
The celebration events can be participated in on the Gangnam Ingang website from June 3 to 28.
The Gangnam Ingang 20th Birthday Celebration Party is an event where participants freely write their wishes for Gangnam Ingang, desired courses, and textbooks on the event board of the website. The 20th Anniversary Special Membership Event offers an additional 2-month course pass to everyone who registers as a full member (membership fee payment) during the event period. A promotional event is also held where participants post the membership event poster and Gangnam Ingang hashtag on their personal SNS. For the Metaverse Event, participants access the Gangnam Ingang metaverse, leave congratulatory messages in the guestbook, or collect hidden 20th anniversary stamps scattered throughout the metaverse. Except for the Metaverse Event, the other two events cannot be participated in simultaneously.
Participants will be entered into a draw to receive prizes prepared by Sookyung Publishing, a partner publisher of Gangnam Ingang. Prizes include Sony noise-canceling headphones, Apple AirPods Pro, cultural gift certificates, Starbucks vouchers, and convenience store vouchers.
