Korean Standards Association Hosts Seoul Quality Control Circle Competition
The Korea Standards Association announced on the 29th that it held the '2024 Seoul Metropolitan Quality Control Circle Competition.'
A total of 16 control circles from five workplaces, including DB Insurance, Seoul Metro, Orion, Korea Electric Power Corporation Nam Seoul Headquarters, and Korea Midland Power Seoul Power Headquarters, participated in this competition, and over 200 people attended as observers, concluding successfully.
The final winning teams were selected through presentations of quality innovation improvement cases completed by each control circle within the past year. The 16 control circles competing in various fields received the grand prize and will participate in the 'National Quality Innovation Competition (the 50th National Quality Control Circle Competition)' held by Suwon City at the end of August.

Kang Myung-soo, President of the Korea Standards Association, said, "I hope that the Quality Control Circle Competitions held in 17 cities and provinces, including the Seoul regional competition, will serve as an opportunity to reaffirm that quality is the foundation of corporate competitiveness."
