The KOSPI is showing a slight decline due to selling by foreigners and institutions.
As of 9:36 AM on the 29th, the KOSPI recorded 2,712.74, down 10.11 points (0.37%) compared to the previous trading day.
By investor type, individuals are net buyers with 333.9 billion KRW. On the other hand, foreigners and institutions are net sellers with 68.2 billion KRW and 268.1 billion KRW, respectively.
By sector, machinery is up 0.78%. In contrast, transportation and warehousing fell 1.14%. Additionally, chemicals, textiles and apparel, and transportation equipment are down more than 1%.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics is trading at 78,000 KRW, up 400 KRW (0.52%) from the previous trading day. SK Hynix is up 0.99%. Meanwhile, LG Chem is down 2.81%. Other stocks such as Samsung Biologics, Celltrion, POSCO Holdings, and Samsung SDI are down more than 1%.
The KOSDAQ recorded 846.99, down 4.02 points (0.47%).
By investor type, individuals are net buyers with 83.2 billion KRW. Conversely, foreigners and institutions are net sellers with 29.7 billion KRW and 47.5 billion KRW, respectively.
By sector, computer services are up 1.75%. In contrast, general electric and electronics, telecommunications equipment, and finance are down more than 1%. Additionally, digital content, distribution, and manufacturing are in a slight decline range.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, EcoPro BM traded at 192,200 KRW, down 6,400 KRW (3.22%) from the previous trading day. EcoPro is down 2.85%. Also, Enchem fell 4.07%. Other stocks such as Rainbow Robotics, Soulbrain, and Hugel are down more than 2%.
