GH to Supply 450 Specialized and Non-Residential Remodeling Rental Housing Units
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) will supply 450 units of ‘specialized purchase rental housing’ and ‘non-residential remodeling purchase rental housing.’
The specialized purchase rental housing project involves purchasing newly built homes with various operational themes for youth, such as support for the independence of people with disabilities and youth entrepreneurship support, and supplying them. It is promoted through a private purchase agreement method to provide high-quality rental housing and plans to offer various spatial welfare services for residents and local communities.
The non-residential remodeling purchase rental housing project remodels (changes the use of) non-residential buildings such as hotels, commercial buildings, and offices in prime urban locations into housing for young people and supplies them as rental housing. The project method is carried out in the same way as the specialized purchase rental housing project.
GH will supply a total of 450 units, including 250 units of specialized purchase rental housing and 200 units of non-residential remodeling purchase rental housing.
GH plans to entrust the operation and management of purchased rental housing and rental commercial buildings to social economy entities to provide various living programs for residents and local communities.
GH is promoting a village-type spatial welfare project that provides necessary spatial services within walking distance living spaces to improve residential inequality in non-apartment areas. As part of this project, this announcement was made to supply youth-tailored rental housing and specialized housing in cooperation with the local community.
GH will accept applications for the specialized purchase rental housing project and the non-residential remodeling purchase rental housing project from July 1 to 31 at the corporation’s headquarters. Afterwards, the final contracted purchase housing will be selected through a comprehensive review of location conditions, business plans, and rental operation management plans.
