"Our Neighborhood Museum Outing"
Colorful Najeonchilgi Workshop
In celebration of Culture Day in May, an educational program titled "A Visit to Our Neighborhood Museum - Making Colorful Najeonchilgi" will be held at the Ulsan Daegok Museum at 2 p.m. on the 29th.
Twenty-four seniors from the Ulju Western Senior Welfare Center will participate in this program, where nacre expert Kim Soyoung will introduce Najeonchilgi and lead a hands-on activity decorating everyday items with mother-of-pearl.
A representative from the Ulsan Daegok Museum stated, "We hope that by creating a personal work using mother-of-pearl, a material used since ancient times, participants will enhance their cultural and artistic sensibility and gain a sense of accomplishment."
