This patent relates to a vehicle infotainment device and its karaoke service method, including a microphone that receives the user's voice data, a display unit that shows lyric data, and a processing unit that compares the audio data being played with the voice data to determine whether to enter karaoke mode. If karaoke mode entry is decided, the processing unit synchronizes the lyric data display with the current playback point of the audio data.
