30 Gyeongbuk Tourism Companies to Hire Youth Interns... One-on-One Interviews Between Job Seekers and HR Managers
Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Organization (President Kim Namil) will host the 'Gyeongbuk Youth Intern Support Job Fair' on the 31st at the Gyeongju HwaBaek Convention Center (HICO) in downtown Gyeongju to create tourism-related jobs in Gyeongbuk.
This event is part of the Gyeongbuk Youth Industry-Academia Linkage Intern Support Project, which connects tourism companies in the Gyeongbuk region with young job seekers. It offers companies the opportunity to recruit talented local individuals, while providing youth with various employment support programs such as on-site interviews and job counseling to share recruitment information.
Any undergraduate or graduate student in Gyeongbuk who wishes to work in the tourism sector, as well as unemployed youth aged 19 to 34 residing in Gyeongbuk, are eligible to participate in this event.
Participants will have the opportunity for one-on-one on-site interviews with HR managers from more than 30 tourism companies, ranging from tourism accommodation businesses such as Gyeongju Hilton Hotel and Saeisiyot Co., Ltd., to travel agency services and tourism convenience facility industries.
In addition, various side events will be held, including a talk concert with current professionals for job seekers, a personal makeup booth, resume photo shoots, a job counseling center, and an awards ceremony for outstanding case studies of practical use by beneficiaries of the Gyeongbuk Tourism Enterprise Support Center support project.
Companies that hire interns through on-site interviews at the job fair will receive support for up to two newly hired youth interns, with a maximum of 1.5 million KRW per person per month for two months, according to the announcement of the Gyeongbuk Youth Industry-Academia Linkage Intern Support Project.
Kim Namil, President of Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Organization, said, "I hope that this Gyeongbuk Youth Intern Support Job Fair, aimed at fostering future tourism talent and supporting tourism companies, will provide youth with job opportunities to strengthen their professional skills and offer local tourism companies the chance to discover outstanding talent for sustainable growth."
