Dongmyung University Achieves Success at KKC Pet Dog Stylist Competition, Wins Gold Prize
All 8 Participants from the Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction Win Awards
The Department of Pet Grooming and Behavioral Correction at Tongmyong University (President: Jeon Ho-hwan, Department Head: Kwak Jin-sook) announced on the 27th that all eight student participants won awards, including the Gold Prize, at the ‘Korea International Grooming Competition KKC Companion Dog Stylist Contest’ recently hosted by the Korea Kennel Club.
The award-winning students, all first- and second-year students in the Department of Pet Grooming and Behavioral Correction, are: Seo-in Bang (Gold Prize), Ki-hyun Yoon (Silver Prize), Chae-yeon Bong (Silver Prize), Seung-won Jung (Silver Prize), So-hee Kim (Bronze Prize), Sun-jae Lee (Bronze Prize), Jae-in Park (Bronze Prize), and Hyun-ji Han (Encouragement Prize).
Seo-in Bang, who won the Gold Prize, said, “The fact that all participating students, including myself, received awards has become an opportunity to strengthen our pride as a prestigious department in pet grooming,” and added, “I will devote myself to my studies and make various efforts to become a professional in the companion animal field.”

This competition, held at the KKC Center over two days from May 25 to 26, attracted over 600 participants from across the country.
Students from the Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction at Dongmyung University participated in the Pet Stylist Competition and won awards including the gold prize.
