Gyeonggi-do Launches 'Fine Dust Response Private Action Group' on the 24th
Gyeonggi Province launched the 'Fine Dust Response Private Action Group' on the 24th, targeting members of 12 environmental organizations active in 17 cities and counties including Yongin-si.
The Fine Dust Response Private Action Group monitors fine dust pollution sources around daily life and carries out activities to reduce fine dust. The group was recruited in March, and a total of 70 private action members will be active until December.
Gyeonggi Province will hold fine dust monitoring training to strengthen the capabilities of the private action group. In addition, in connection with the 'Clean Air International Forum' to be held in September, it will provide opportunities for residents to directly participate in policies through events such as a fine dust response talk concert.
This year, Gyeonggi Province expanded the number of participants, organizations, and activity periods of the Fine Dust Response Private Action Group, and plans to disclose activity details and collect residents' opinions through the official website (www.capp.co.kr).
