"Offering 10 Million Won a Month" 30s Caught for Vandalizing Gyeongbokgung Palace
A man in his 30s who instructed a teenage minor to graffiti the walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace was arrested by the police.

View original imageThe Cyber Investigation Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 23rd that they have apprehended a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, suspected of being behind the graffiti, on charges including violation of the Cultural Heritage Protection Act.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of instructing Mr. B via Telegram last December to graffiti a 30-meter-long phrase saying "Free Movie WillOOtv.com feat Nunu" on the walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace, the National Palace Museum, and the east gate wall of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
It was reported that Mr. A issued these instructions while changing his account names to "Team Leader Lee" and "Manager Kim," among others.
Earlier, during a police investigation in December last year, Mr. B testified that Mr. A proposed the crime by saying he could pay 10 million won per month.

The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A and investigate the details of the crime and any additional offenses.
