Hwaseong-si, Recruiting Students for Lifelong Learning Program for Workers 'Dalbit School'
14 Courses Opened... Including One-Day Classes
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis for the second round of the lifelong learning program for office workers, 'Dalbit School,' from the 20th of this month until the 3rd of next month.
Dalbit School for office workers is a lifelong learning program aimed at expanding participation in lifelong learning among local office workers and self-employed individuals. It offers a variety of courses in fields such as humanities, liberal arts, and cultural arts, available during weekday evenings and weekend mornings.
The courses are offered at two locations: Hwaseong Citizen University and Hwaseong Lifelong Learning Center. At Hwaseong Citizen University, courses include Gyubang craft, tree illustration and calligraphy, brunch cooking, drawing, coffee making, flower songpyeon making (one-day class), and perfume making (one-day class). At Hwaseong Lifelong Learning Center, courses include drawing, crocheted accessories, Gyubang craft, tree illustration and stylish calligraphy, home baking, flower healing (one-day class), and home baking snack making (one-day class).
Starting with this recruitment, one-day classes have been newly introduced to reduce the time and financial burden for office workers who find it difficult to regularly allocate time. The tuition fee for regular courses is 10,000 KRW, and one-day classes cost 2,000 KRW. Participants must pay separate material fees for each course.
