Choi Hogwon, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, Attends 'Marathon for Helping Children with Cancer'
Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the '21st Seoul Citizens Marathon for Pediatric Cancer Patients' held on the morning of the 19th at the Yeouido Hangang Park event plaza, delivering a message of hope to the children.
On this day, Mayor Choi Ho-gwon of Yeongdeungpo District, along with Lee Dong-yoon, Chairman of the Pediatric Cancer Patients Support Organizing Committee, attended the event. The marathon, under the slogan "Run for your neighbors one day a year!", was organized to bring hope to children battling severe illnesses.
Marking its 21st year, this year's event featured four categories: half marathon, 10km, 5km, and 10km walking. Mayor Choi signaled the start of the half marathon and enthusiastically applauded the participants.
