Gyeongnam Nonghyup and Muhak Wish Seniors Health and Longevity
Longevity Photo Shoot and Beauty Service Volunteering
On the 17th, Gyeongnam Nonghyup held a longevity photo and beauty service event for local seniors at Yangsan Nonghyup and Ungsang Nonghyup, in celebration of Family Month in May. The event targeted seniors who had not been able to prepare longevity photos due to financial difficulties.
About 20 people attended the event, including Yangsan Mayor Na Dongyeon, MooHak CEO Lee Jongsoo, Gyeongnam Nonghyup Head Cho Geunsoo, Ungsang Nonghyup President Ahn Yongwoo, Nonghyup Yangsan Branch Manager Kim Wonmook, and executives and staff from Gyeongnam Nonghyup.
The event was supported by the Save Our Agriculture Movement Headquarters and MooHak. It included hair and makeup services and the presentation of roses, along with taking longevity photos for the seniors, wishing them health and long life.
A professional photographer was invited to take photos of about 200 senior citizens from vulnerable groups in the area. The photos will be delivered to them in framed form.
CEO Lee stated, "I hope that by capturing the precious moments of our seniors' lives in photos, they will enjoy a long, healthy, and happy old age. We will continue to promote various social contribution activities together with Gyeongnam Nonghyup."
Head Cho said, "We wish for the health and longevity of the seniors who took the photos, and we will continue to carry out a variety of social contribution activities to improve community welfare. We also thank MooHak for supporting these efforts."
