Chosun Ilgong University to Host Wellness Life Convergence Festival on the 18th
Chosun University of Science and Technology is preparing a health festival that anyone in Gwangju can enjoy and will hold the '2024 Chosun University of Science and Technology Industry-Academia Cooperation Festa - Wellness Life Convergence Festival' on the 18th.
Co-hosted by the LINC3.0 Project Group and the HiVE Project Group of Chosun University of Science and Technology, this event will take place on the lawn in front of Building 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring various wellness experiences along with cultural performances.
The wellness experience booths include sports taping, blood sugar measurement, body shape analysis, new sports experiences, and yogurt ice cream making to help local residents experience health activities. Cultural experiences such as making your own flying disc, rose face painting, and learning K-pop dance are also prepared.
In particular, this event is organized in cooperation with local wellness and healthcare industry companies to provide local residents with a healing time to become physically and mentally healthy and socially connected, in celebration of May as Family Month.
This Wellness Life Convergence Festival is designed to promote the cultural content industry and the med-healthcare industry, two of the five major strategic industries in our region, for the healthy and happy wellness life of Gwangju citizens. It aims to actively inform citizens about various specialized projects through university infrastructure and industry-academia networks and to revitalize local industries.
