Korea Rail Network Authority Chairman Lee Seong-hae Joins 'Bye Bye Plastic' Challenge
The Korea Rail Network Authority announced on the 16th that Lee Seong-hae, Chairman of the Rail Network Authority (pictured), has joined the 'Bye Bye Plastic' challenge.
Organized by the Ministry of Environment, this challenge is a relay campaign aimed at reducing unnecessary plastic use in daily life and encouraging the use of reusable products.
Chairman Lee participated in the challenge after being nominated by Han Moon-hee, President of Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL). He recommended Eo Myeong-so, President of the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, and Ham Jin-gyu, President of the Korea Expressway Corporation, as the next participants.

Chairman Lee said, "Nature is not something inherited from our ancestors, but a future asset borrowed from future generations," adding, "All employees of the Rail Network Authority will join in saving the Earth through small daily practices, such as making it a habit to use tumblers instead of disposable cups to protect the environment."
