Content platform company RIDI announced on the 16th that the webtoon "Pumgyeogeul Baebanhanda" surpassed 1 billion KRW in transaction volume within two weeks of serialization on Japan's largest webtoon platform, MechaComic.
Released for the first time during Japan's Golden Week, the webtoon "Pumgyeogeul Baebanhanda" ranked first in the weekly comprehensive ranking immediately upon serialization. In particular, it exceeded 1 billion KRW in transaction volume within two weeks since its serialization began on the 26th of last month.
The webtoon "Pumgyeogeul Baebanhanda" depicts a romance between the devoted eldest daughter of a financially troubled family and the arrogant king's nephew. Last year, it ranked second in the annual popularity ranking on RIDI's global webtoon subscription service, Manta.
