POSCO Union, Over 7,000 Participants in Ordinary Wage Lawsuit... Additional Registrations Ongoing

The POSCO Labor Union of the Korean Federation of Metalworkers' Unions announced on the 14th that it has closed the submission of power of attorney forms for the ordinary wage lawsuit, stating, "The number of union members participating in the lawsuit totaled 6,670, the largest number in the steel industry."
The POSCO union said, "Due to the enthusiastic interest of union members, we are recruiting additional participants for one more week until the 20th," adding, "We are currently collecting power of attorney forms from union members who have not yet submitted them."
The POSCO union argues that the ordinary wage should include allowances such as ▲maintenance technical incentive pay ▲resident work immersion allowance ▲shift work immersion allowance ▲performance pay ▲holiday bonuses ▲and management performance bonuses.
The POSCO union stated, "We expect to file the ordinary wage lawsuit in July."
