'West Coast's Tallest' Hongseong Sky Tower Opens... Cheonsuman in Full View
Receive 2,000 Won in Local Currency When Purchasing Admission Tickets
The Hongseong Sokdong Observatory (Hongseong Sky Tower), the highest point on the west coast of Chungnam, opened on the 13th.
Standing 65 meters tall, the Sky Tower offers a panoramic view of the Cheonsuman coastal scenery. The upper part of the tower features a glass-bottomed skywalk, providing a thrilling experience.
Special lighting with 256 colors, harmonizing with the night sea, has also been installed to offer a unique nighttime tourism experience. The night landscape lighting is turned on from sunset until 10 PM.
General visitors can enter starting from the 14th. By purchasing an admission ticket for 3,000 won, visitors receive 2,000 won in local currency. Residents of Hongseong County can enter for free.
Yoo Yong-rok, the mayor of Hongseong County, said, "Hongseong County will take the lead in changing the coastal tourism map of South Korea," adding, "We will build a tourism ecosystem like putting together a puzzle."
He also emphasized, "We will create a tourism Hongseong that represents South Korea so that the residents of Hongseong can live happy and warm lives."
