Jangseong-gun 'Hometown Love Donation Fund Project Ideas' Contest

Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 13th that it will hold a contest for ‘Hometown Love Donation Fund Project Ideas’ until the 7th of next month.

The categories are ▲support for socially vulnerable groups and youth development and protection ▲promotion of culture, arts, and health for local residents ▲support for revitalizing local communities ▲other projects to improve residents' welfare.

Anyone interested in the Jangseong-gun Hometown Love Donation System can participate in this contest, and submissions can be made via email, mail, or in person.

The results will be announced in August after review by the judging committee. Winners will receive local currency Jangseong Love Gift Certificates as prizes: 500,000 KRW for one grand prize winner, 300,000 KRW for two excellence awardees, and 100,000 KRW worth for five encouragement awardees.

A county official said, “We hope for many proposals to discover innovative and practical fund projects that resonate with donors.”

Meanwhile, the county is conducting a ‘Hometown Love Donation Event’ in celebration of the Hwangryonggang Gildongmu Flower Road Festival held from the 24th to 26th and Family Month in May.

If you make a hometown love donation of 100,000 KRW or more to Jangseong-gun by the 2nd of next month and order a thank-you gift, you will be automatically entered into a drawing. The county plans to randomly select 30 winners to receive promotional packages containing Jangseong rice and face masks.
