View original imageTo prevent secondary car accidents, which have a fatality rate seven times higher than general traffic accidents, S-OIL plans to purchase LED emergency warning panels that can be easily installed in car trunks and distribute them free of charge to a total of 1,000 disabled and general customers using its gas stations.
S-OIL will purchase LED emergency warning panels made and sold directly by disabled people through the Korea Disabled Foundation, contributing to traffic safety while supporting socially vulnerable groups in a more meaningful sharing activity.
The ‘Safe-On’ campaign is being implemented for the first time this year, initially as a pilot program targeting customers at gas stations participating in the ‘Fueling Assistance Service for the Vulnerable’ in the metropolitan area, with plans to expand nationwide in the future.
Attorney Han Moon-cheol, who is actively conducting traffic accident prevention campaigns, attended the donation ceremony.
