Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends the '2024 Hyodream Silver Car Delivery Ceremony'
On the 10th at 10 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the '2024 Hyodream Silver Car Delivery Ceremony' held at the Nowon Residents' Hall Auditorium.
The event was organized to deliver 200 walking assistive devices (silver cars) prepared by the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation in celebration of Parents' Day 2024. The walking assistive device, called a 'silver car,' allows elderly people to hold the handle and support themselves while walking, aiming to enhance their mobility convenience and support a healthy senior life.
The delivery ceremony was held with about 400 attendees, including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, elderly residents of Nowon District, and care workers, proceeding in the order of a preliminary performance, opening declaration, greetings, silver car delivery, and commemorative photo session.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok stated, "I hope the walking assistive devices (silver cars) will become strong legs for elderly people who have difficulty moving," and added, "We will continue to provide various supports for the happy later years of our seniors."
