[Future Business Forum] HL Mando to Introduce Generative AI in Vehicle Software Development
HL Mando Develops Mobility Integrated Solution Mycosa
Adopts Generative AI to Reduce Development Personnel and Costs
Over 500 SW Campus Researchers Devoted to Development
"Through AI-based digital transformation (DX), we will bring innovation to the automotive software development field."
Lee Jin-hwan, Head of the HL Mando Software (SW) Campus (Executive Director), will attend the Future Enterprise Forum hosted by Asia Economy on the 22nd of this month as a panelist to explain the role of AI in automotive SW development.
At CES, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition, held in January, HL Mando SW Campus unveiled its self-developed mobility SW integrated solution, MiCOSA. MiCOSA is an SW solution specialized in automotive vehicle control, HL Mando's area of expertise. This solution helps drivers safely navigate sharp curves and provides automatic avoidance functions to evade sudden obstacles on the road. It also detects when the vehicle's electronic driving functions malfunction and enables the vehicle to stop safely. Additionally, by utilizing AI and machine learning, it analyzes the driver's driving style and provides necessary information to help drive more safely and comfortably. All required data is managed and efficiently processed through the cloud.
As the automotive industry transitions to software-defined vehicles (SDV), the importance of SW development has increased. The complexity and quality requirements of automotive SW demanded by the market are rising. HL Mando is actively utilizing generative AI in the SW development process to reduce project development personnel and costs and improve efficiency.
HL Mando, a specialized company in electric vehicle and autonomous driving solutions within the HL Group, is innovating SW development infrastructure and processes to address the automotive industry's pressing challenge of 'SDV transition.' High-quality SW development is essential to create software-centric vehicles. In this process, the adoption of AI technology has become a necessity rather than an option.
