Hoseo University Department of Nursing Holds the 17th Nightingale Oath Ceremony
73 Prospective Nurses Pledge Responsibility and Calling as Nurses
The Department of Nursing at Hoseo University held the 17th Nightingale Oath Ceremony on the 10th, pledging to fulfill their responsibilities and calling as nurses.
On this day, the Nightingale Oath Ceremony was conducted with a candlelight ritual and the recitation of the Nightingale Oath by a total of 73 prospective nurses going out for field practice.
In particular, alumni Yang Eun-jung (Class of 2020, currently working at Samsung Seoul Hospital) and Lee Jun-hyuk (Class of 2021, currently working at Bobath Memorial Hospital), who participated as senior Nightingales, presented the 'Senior Nightingale Scholarship.'
After the oath ceremony, the students will undergo nursing field practice at Samsung Seoul Hospital, Konkuk University Hospital, Dankook University Hospital, Soonchunhyang University Hospital, local health centers, and then take the national exam to work as nurses.
