40-Year-Old Arrested for Wielding a Weapon in PC Bang After Being Told to "Be Quiet"
A man who wielded a weapon because he was asked to "be quiet" was arrested by the police.
The Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul announced on the 9th that they arrested a man in his 40s, Mr. A, on charges of attempted murder.
Mr. A is accused of wielding a weapon during an argument with Mr. B at a PC bang in Mia-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, around 9:20 p.m. the previous day.
Shortly after the argument with Mr. A, at around 11:10 p.m., Mr. B posted a message titled "Got stabbed at the PC bang" on an online community.
Mr. B explained the situation, saying, "Someone was cursing and causing a commotion, so I went to the front seat and asked them to be quiet," and added, "Even though the other party said they would apologize and told me to wait, I was stabbed in the neck while preparing to defend myself."
According to another post Mr. B made at 2:30 a.m. on the 9th, it is reported that he has received medical treatment at a hospital.
