BNK Busan Bank Launches 'Meal Support Project for Elderly Veterans in the Region'
On the 7th, Busan Regional Veterans Office and 'ModuAe (Ae) Brunch' Project Support Ceremony
Providing meals to 50 elderly veterans' families every Tuesday at Busan Yeontan Bank
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) held a support ceremony on the 7th in celebration of Family Month in cooperation with the Busan Regional Veterans Office for the ‘Modu愛 (Ae) Brunch’ project for local veterans.

View original imageThe ‘Modu愛 (Ae) Brunch’ project is a regionally specialized social contribution initiative that provides distinctive meals to elderly veteran families who are socially vulnerable, as part of the ‘Veterans for All’ practice project promoted by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
Starting from the support ceremony, Busan Bank plans to donate a total of 12 million KRW to the meal support project regularly operated every Tuesday at the first-floor cafeteria of the Busan Yeontan Bank located in Chojang-dong, Seo-gu.
Park Young-jun, Head of Management Support Division at Busan Bank, said, “We joined this project to practice veterans’ respect in daily life for those who have devoted themselves to the country,” adding, “Busan Bank will continue to provide various support so that elderly veteran families can be honored in the local community.”

Since 2009, Busan Bank has donated ‘Love Sharing Funds’ annually to national merit recipients and veteran families during the Month of Patriots and Veterans, and especially in July last year, participated in the ‘Heroes in Uniform’ project to express gratitude and respect to patriotic heroes.
