"Until Citizens Are Satisfied"... Yeongcheon City Creates a 'Clean City'
Promotion of 56 Common Tasks by Department Including Grievance Counseling Desk
Yeongcheon City in Gyeongbuk held the "1st Meeting of the 2024 Clean Yeongcheon Promotion Team" on the 7th at the city hall's main conference room.
The Clean Yeongcheon Promotion Team is a consultative body led by the mayor, composed of department heads who are integrity leaders, established to take a leading role in integrity policies.
At this meeting, Mayor Choi Ki-moon, along with the vice mayor, directors, and department heads, discussed the selected tasks and promotion strategies for each department.
This year, centered on the promotion team, 56 common tasks were selected to improve organizational culture through intergenerational communication, including operating "Integrity Communication Days" and establishing grievance consultation channels through cross-departmental interviews (Tea-Time).
In particular, 32 tasks targeting vulnerable areas will be separately selected and promoted, such as enacting fair recruitment regulations for non-civil servants, appointing resident supervisors for construction projects, and conducting mutual evaluations after subsidy projects.
