Depend is an incontinence product. The newly released Depend Style Underwear Summer incorporates various innovative technologies and materials to provide a refreshing wear during the summer. The lining features a bamboo cooling cover containing lyocell, which lowers the inner cover temperature by up to 2 degrees compared to the company’s previous products. Lyocell fibers are widely used in summer clothing and underwear due to their excellent thermal conductivity, breathability, and texture. The abdomen and waist areas also include so-called ‘breathable air holes.’ The absorbent layer contains a dual-action core that simultaneously manages absorption and ventilation.
It is designed to be comfortable even under thin summer clothing. The patented sable material provides a close fit, combined with a low waistline and flexible absorbent layer to adapt well to body movements. Additionally, a patented deodorizing absorbent is applied, which effectively neutralizes odors from ammonia as well as ketones, aldehydes, and sulfur compounds.
According to a survey conducted independently by Depend this year, 57% of women aged 30 to 70 have experienced incontinence within the past three months.

Yuhan-Kimberly stated, “Since Depend aims to be another type of underwear, the product’s comfort and fit are expected to greatly contribute to users experiencing the benefits of specialized products and positively changing perceptions about incontinence. The market also evaluates this highly.” They added, “We will continue to seek opportunities for innovation from unmet consumer expectations and strive to contribute to improving quality of life.”
