Busan Office of Education Achieves Nationwide Top 'SA Grade' in Pledge Evaluation
Received the Highest National Grade in Comprehensive Evaluation
Achieved Goals and SA Grade in Resident Communication
Superintendent Ha Yun-su was recognized as the best among all city and provincial superintendents nationwide in fulfilling promises made to citizens.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education received the highest 'SA grade' in the '2024 Nationwide Superintendent Pledge Fulfillment and Information Disclosure Evaluation' announced by the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters.
The Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters recently evaluated the fulfillment performance of election pledges from 17 city and provincial superintendents nationwide based on five major areas: ▲Pledge fulfillment completion (100 points) ▲Achievement of 2023 goals (100 points) ▲Resident communication (100 points) ▲Web communication (Pass/Fail) ▲Pledge consistency (Pass/Fail).
The evaluation grades consist of five levels (SA, A, B, C, D), and a total score of 78 points or higher out of 100 in the comprehensive evaluation corresponds to the 'SA grade (highest excellence)'.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education earned an SA grade by scoring over 78 points in the comprehensive evaluation and also received SA grades in two areas: 'Achievement of 2023 goals' and 'Resident communication.'
Among the total 75 pledge projects, the city education office has already completed the 'Establishment of the Busan Academic Development Institute,' and the remaining projects either exceeded last year's implementation targets or are progressing normally, earning high marks for faithful pledge fulfillment.
Additionally, efforts to enhance communication with residents were recognized, such as reorganizing the 'Pledge & Manifesto Homepage' on the city education office’s website for citizen convenience, allowing anyone to easily grasp the status of pledge project implementation.
