Asan Public Health Center Supports Dental Care in 11 Eup and Myeon Areas
Primary Cavity Treatment, Scaling, etc.
Asan City in Chungnam announced on the 3rd that it will deploy dental mobile clinics to 11 towns and townships.
The dental mobile clinic vehicles were launched in 2014 to expand dental care services for elderly living alone in medically underserved areas.
The clinic vehicles are equipped with dental treatment equipment, allowing oral care specialists to visit residents who have difficulty accessing dental medical services and provide treatment.
The treatment items range widely from simple services such as primary cavity treatment, scaling, fluoride varnish application, and denture cleaning to preventive services.
In the second half of this year, the service will also operate for elementary and middle school students in towns and townships without dental clinics.
