Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) will sell Yongsan Love Gift Certificates worth 8 billion KRW at a 5% discount in May to celebrate 'Family Month.' These mobile gift certificates are issued to promote local resident consumption and increase sales for small business owners.
The Yongsan Love Gift Certificates issued this time can be purchased from 9 a.m. on the 8th via the Seoul Pay Plus app. Individuals can purchase them with a 5% pre-discount within a monthly limit of 500,000 KRW and can hold up to 1.5 million KRW. They can be used like cash for up to 5 years from the purchase date at 8,954 affiliated stores within the Yongsan area.
Additionally, 100 million KRW worth of Yongsan Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates for May will be issued at a 15% discount starting from 10 a.m. on the 3rd. These can be used to order from local restaurants via the public delivery app Ttaenggyeoyo, offering small business owners a 2% lower commission fee and consumers a 15% discount benefit.
The Yongsan Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates can also be purchased through the Seoul Pay Plus app, with a monthly limit of 100,000 KRW per person and a maximum holding amount of 1 million KRW. They can be used like cash for one year from the purchase date on the Ttaenggyeoyo app, and the Yongsan Love Gift Certificates are also accepted.
To purchase and use these two gift certificates, which are fully funded by the district for 'Family Month,' users must pre-download the newly upgraded Seoul Pay Plus app from Google Play or the App Store. Registering accounts or cards in advance for bank transfers or card payments will shorten the purchase time.
The gift certificates cannot be used with the existing Shinhan SOL Bank, T-money Pay, Money Tree, or Shinhan SOL Pay apps linked to the previous Seoul Pay Plus app.
