Boryeong·AMC International Motor Festival Opens on the 4th in Daecheon

The Chungnam Boryeong·AMC International Motor Festival will be held from the 4th to the 6th at the Mud Expo Square of Daecheon Beach.
According to Boryeong City on the 1st, the Boryeong·AMC International Motor Festival, the only outdoor motor show in Korea, was planned in 2020 to revitalize tourism in the global marine leisure tourism city of Boryeong. However, due to the impact of COVID-19, it was postponed and first held in 2022. From the first year, it received great response with a crowd of 50,000 people.
The 2nd Boryeong·AMC International Motor Festival held last year significantly expanded its programs with a total project cost of 1 billion KRW. It exhibited 600 tuning cars and two-wheeled bikes, and invited top athletes from two classes of gymkhana and drifting to perform demonstrations.
The 3rd Boryeong·AMC International Motor Festival, held this year, will showcase an even more developed festival. Completed car manufacturers such as TOYOTA GR, VOLVO, and JLR (JAGUAR + LAND ROVER) will participate, and the variety of exhibited vehicles has also increased.
On the 5th, to celebrate the 102nd Children's Day, a unique experience will be offered to children, the future dream seeds. In connection with the International Motor Festival, cosplay focused on transforming robots and an exhibition of robot dogs will showcase the development and future of robot technology.
Along with this, the Daecheon Grilled Clam Festival and a seafood discount direct sales market will be held, allowing visitors to enjoy fresh seafood.
A city official said, "We will foster the motor festival as Boryeong's representative festival," adding, "We will also strive to contribute to the development of the automotive industry, including the motorsports industry."
