Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam will conduct a joint inspection to prevent food poisoning at about 120 daycare centers in the area for three weeks starting from the 2nd.
This inspection will be organized and operated by an inspection team composed of city and district offices and consumer food hygiene inspectors, and joint inspections with Gyeongsangnam-do and local childcare departments will also be conducted simultaneously.
The main inspection items include ▲ the storage condition of ingredients and hygiene management at each stage of cooking and serving ▲ use of expired products ▲ health checkups of cooking staff ▲ hygiene and cleanliness management in the kitchen ▲ compliance with the obligation to store preserved food, etc. During the hygiene inspection, frequently provided snacks or cooked foods that may cause food poisoning will be collected and tested for food poisoning bacteria.
