"Drawing Happy Homes"... Hyundai Department Store Hosts Children's Drawing Contest
Hyundai Department Store announced on the 1st that it will hold the "39th Children's Drawing Contest" for kindergarten and elementary school students nationwide in celebration of Family Month in May.
The Children's Drawing Contest is a family cultural event sponsored by the Hyundai Children's Book Museum, held annually alongside various events to allow children to freely draw and develop their artistic imagination.
This year's theme is "The Happy Home I Dream Of." Children who wish to participate can apply through the Hyundai Department Store integrated application (app) by the 26th, then submit their drawings at designated desks in 16 department stores and 8 outlet stores nationwide. Registration is limited to the first 10,000 applicants, and participation is free. Participants will receive a kids' snack voucher redeemable at Cafe H in all stores and a 5,000 KRW discount coupon for cultural center classes in May and June.

Judging will be divided into kindergarten, lower elementary (grades 1-3), and upper elementary (grades 4-6) categories. The overall first-place winner will receive the highest award, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award, along with a Hyundai Department Store gift certificate worth 2 million KRW. Additionally, one winner from each category will be selected to receive the Hyundai Department Store President's Award (prize of 1 million KRW) and the Hyundai Children's Book Museum Award (500,000 KRW), among others. A total of 1,000 winners will be selected.
