Selected Resident Models to Participate in Walking Practice with Experts and Receive Certificates of Commendation and Other Benefits
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is recruiting 10 citizen models to promote energy-saving practices by wearing cool outfits.
'Siwoncharim' refers to light clothing that helps avoid heat. It includes sleeveless tops, short bottoms, wide-leg pants, and other cool attire that lowers the perceived temperature. It is an easy everyday effort to save cooling energy that anyone can practice.
If selected as a model, participants will appear in the 'Siwoncharim Fashion Show' held during the Gwangjin Environmental Festival on June 8. It is an opportunity to freely showcase refreshing outfits filled with individual personality. All participants will receive a certificate of commendation and a small prize.
Anyone residing or living within the Gwangjin-gu area can participate. Those interested should submit a photo or a short form (short video) showing themselves dressed coolly by the 10th. Note that the short form must be produced within 5 seconds.
The selection results will be announced in May after screening. Following that, walking practice for the fashion show preparation will be conducted for five days. With the help of professional models, participants can learn how to walk naturally and stand on stage.
