The Gyeonggi Province Special Judicial Police Unit is launching a crackdown on illegal activities in livestock product distribution.
The Special Judicial Police Unit announced on the 30th that from May 7 to 24, they will conduct intensive inspections targeting livestock product processing and sales establishments, as well as butcher restaurants within the province, focusing on illegal activities during the processing and distribution of livestock products.

In particular, this crackdown will utilize pork origin identification kits to detect cases where foreign pork is disguised and sold as domestic pork, enhancing the accuracy and speed of the inspections.
