'Pledge Implementation Status Report Meeting' Held on the 29th
On the 29th, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province held the '2024 Pledge Implementation Status Report Meeting' in the city hall's main conference room to review the progress of the pledge projects under the 8th elected administration, the city announced on the same day.
Presided over by Mayor Kim Kyung-hee, the report meeting was attended by over 60 heads of departments responsible for the projects, who exchanged opinions on the current direction, issues, and improvement plans for the ongoing pledge projects.

View original imageThe 8th elected administration of Icheon City has set the vision of 'A New Icheon, Opening the Future Together' and is promoting 108 pledge projects. According to the city, as of April, 42 projects, accounting for 39% of the total, have been completed, and 62 projects are progressing normally. The city also explained that it has separately established 52 additional implementation tasks and is managing their execution at a level comparable to the pledge projects.
In particular, to enhance the transparency of pledge implementation, the city operates a 'Pledge Implementation Evaluation Group' composed of citizens and publicly discloses detailed progress of each project on the city hall website.

At the report meeting, Mayor Kim urged, "The fulfillment of pledges is not simply about completion but about devising development plans to maximize the effects that citizens can feel for each project."
