Busan Office of Education Seeks Support Measures for Innovation in Kindergarten and Elementary School Classes
Enhancing the Capacity of Education Professionals to Support School Sites
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoon-soo) announced on the 29th that it held the '2024 Early Childhood and Elementary Education Specialist Capacity Building Workshop' over two days on the 26th and 27th at the Stanford Hotel in Tongyeong, Gyeongnam, with more than 160 early childhood and elementary education specialists in attendance.
This workshop was held to enhance the capabilities of education specialists who support instructional innovation in kindergartens and schools, aiming to develop Busan education and realize the vision of 'Hopeful Busan Education.'
The Office of Education focused on sharing policies for instructional innovation in the field and preparing support measures during the workshop.
The workshop began with a special lecture by Professor Park Hyung-joo of Ajou University titled 'Future Education: Classes that Foster the Power of Thinking,' followed by a discussion among participants on the topic 'Directions and Tasks of Education Policy for Instructional Innovation.'
Additionally, free discussions were held by institutions and departments to explore mid- to long-term school support plans to realize Busan education policies.
