Shilla University (President Heo Nam-sik) announced on the 29th that it held a group movie viewing event for faculty and staff in celebration of 'Labor Day.'
On the 26th, Shilla University organized a group viewing of a recently released film to comfort employees exhausted from work and to boost their motivation.
Shilla University and the Shilla University branch of the National University Labor Union rented a Megabox Sasang branch theater for all staff to attend. The event began with a greeting from President Heo Nam-sik, followed by the movie screening and dinner.
In his greeting, President Heo Nam-sik stated, "On the occasion of Labor Day, we aim to create an organizational culture that respects the value of labor and to listen to and communicate with the diverse opinions of our members." He added, "We will prepare various policies to improve the welfare and morale of faculty and staff."
