Post-Endemic Growth in Food and Beverage Sales at Leisure and Convenience Facilities
CJ Freshway announced on the 25th that its food and beverage service sales in the concession business sector have recorded an average annual growth rate of 36% over the past three years.
CJ Freshway attributed this to the rapid provision of customized services such as developing specialized menus and reorganizing food and beverage facilities at leisure and convenience facility sites, where demand has sharply recovered since the endemic phase.
CJ Freshway's concession business covers various channels including water parks, resorts, rest areas, and shopping centers, with service scope including food courts and employee cafeterias within each site. Since 2021, CJ Freshway's concession business has maintained steady growth across all channels. Among these, the water park channel has benefited the most from the endemic effect, recording a three-year average growth rate of 178%.
With the water play season starting next month, CJ Freshway has begun full-scale preparations to welcome guests. The company plans to enhance overall services by developing signature menus, planning customer events, and reorganizing food and beverage facilities to further increase satisfaction among visitors to water parks.
