Daejeon Dong-gu to Open Central Market Night Market on the 3rd of Next Month... Abundant Food Choices

The Dong-gu District of Daejeon and the Central Market Revitalization Zone Merchants Association announced on the 24th that the 'Dong-gu Night Market' will open on the 3rd of next month in the Hwawoltong area of Central Market.
The night market is an event jointly promoted by the public and private sectors to revitalize traditional markets and the local economy, operating every Friday and Saturday from 6 PM to 10 PM.
This year, with the participation of 18 businesses, the market will offer a richer variety of food, as well as attractions such as media facade video displays, photo zones, and traditional games like tuho, jegichagi, and shoe throwing.
Additionally, there will be a flea market featuring youth village (Cheolbuji) and Kkumdori product sales, hands-on programs like dalgona and wood-fired pizza making, street performances, and singing contests.

Park Hee-jo, head of Dong-gu District Office, said, “We expect the night market to provide citizens with diverse cultural experiences and expand sales opportunities for local merchants,” adding, “We hope many people will participate in the night market, which has been prepared with even more varied content.”
