'The Outlaws 4' Achieves Highest Advance Ticket Sales in Korean Film History
830,455 Tickets Sold by 8 AM on Release Day
The movie 'Crime City 4' has forecasted a hit with the highest advance ticket sales ever recorded for a Korean film. According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office system on the 24th, it recorded 834,455 tickets sold (95.5% reservation rate) by 8 a.m. on its release day. This is the highest number of advance bookings so far this year, including foreign films.
It surpassed the records of previous Korean films such as last year's 'Crime City 3 (640,638 tickets)', 'Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds (646,517 tickets)', 'The Battleship Island (565,992 tickets)', and 'Parasite (505,382 tickets)'. It is expected to lead the box office until next month.
