Save the Children Korea Central Headquarters Signs Agreement... First Project Participation in Chungnam
Asan City in Chungnam Province is launching the ‘Creating Child-Safe Institutions’ project.
On the 16th, the city signed a business agreement to promote the ‘Creating Child-Safe Institutions’ project with Save the Children Korea Central Region Headquarters and the Asan City Regional Children's Center Association.
Started by Save the Children in 2019, the ‘Creating Child-Safe Institutions’ project aims to prevent accidents that threaten children's safety and provide necessary education and consulting to respond immediately in case of risks. To this end, it supports activity and operating expenses worth 20 million KRW over two years to help facilities establish and operate child safety protection policies.
Asan City is the first in Chungnam to participate in this project, and 13 regional children's centers are expected to carry out the project through fulfilling roles by participating entities and strengthening mutual cooperation.
