Nam Taeheon, Director of the Korea Forest Welfare Institute, Joins the 'Bye Bye Plastic' Challenge
The Korea Forest Welfare Institute announced on the 15th that Director Nam Taeheon participated in the 'Bye Bye Plastic' challenge.
The challenge is a nationwide relay campaign organized by the Ministry of Environment aimed at reducing plastic usage in daily life by cutting down on disposable products and promoting the use of reusable containers.
Director Nam joined the challenge upon the nomination of Choi Muyeol, Director of the Korea Forestry Promotion Institute. He then nominated Ryu Kwangsu, Chairman of the Korea Arboretum and Garden Management Institute, and Kwon Youngrok, Director of the National Forest Healing Center, as the next participants.

Director Nam said, "I am pleased to participate in a campaign that raises awareness about plastic use," adding, "The Forest Welfare Institute will strive to reduce plastic usage among all employees and create a work environment that uses domestic wood."
