Focused Investigation on Working Conditions of Care Workers
Ulju-gun (Governor Lee Soon-geol) announced on the 12th that it will commence a research project to identify and improve the treatment conditions of long-term care workers.
This research project is being promoted based on the "Ulsan Ulju-gun Ordinance on the Improvement and Support of Care Workers' Treatment." Ulju-gun will conduct the project for six months until September, starting with a kickoff meeting held on the same day.
The project will establish an implementation plan to improve the treatment and status of long-term care workers active in Ulju-gun, focusing on investigating the general status, compensation system, working conditions, health, safety, human rights, and job satisfaction of long-term care workers.
Additionally, a Focus Group Interview (FGI) will be conducted with long-term care workers and experts to comprehensively analyze the current situation.

Lee Soon-geol, Governor of Ulju-gun, stated, "Through this project, we expect to assist in improving the treatment of long-term care workers, identify future tasks, and contribute to the establishment of strategies and concrete policies for providing better elderly welfare services."
