Jungjingong Invites Companies to Participate in Carbon-Neutral Smart Factory Expansion Project

Up to 200 Million KRW Support Per Company
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 11th that it is recruiting participating companies for the 'Carbon Neutral Smart Factory Dissemination Project' to improve energy efficiency and promote the transition to a low-carbon management system for small and medium enterprises.
The Carbon Neutral Smart Factory Dissemination Project supports the establishment of specialized smart factories effective in reducing carbon emissions for small and medium ventures, including energy diagnosis and design consulting, ICT-based carbon reduction process innovation, and high-efficiency equipment replacement.
The eligible applicants are 14 root technology industries and the top 10 high carbon-emitting industries. Final selection is made through a two-stage evaluation process consisting of a first written review and a second face-to-face technical evaluation and on-site verification.
Once selected, experts conduct on-site visits to establish plans for building carbon reduction smart factories and provide close support throughout the entire smart factory construction process, including construction guidance consulting. Additionally, to support the construction of ICT-based carbon reduction smart factories for participating companies, factory energy management systems, related control and measurement systems, and high-efficiency equipment replacements effective in reducing energy consumption are provided.
